Affiliate Links

We are a participant in, among others, the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and other affiliated sites.

Some of the links on our site are affiliate links, and at no additional cost to you, we will earn a commission if you decide to make a purchase after clicking through the link.  We only link to companies and products that we have experience with, recommend, and believe will be helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions we make if you decide to purchase through our links.

We do not, and will not, cloak our links.  You will see a piece of text, a product name for example, that is a link and when you hover over it, your browser should show you the actual hyperlink.  The link you see is exactly where you are being directed.  Furthermore, it is in violation of a number of agreements to cloak links, as it should be.  The world is a better place when it’s honest and truthful.

Please do not make any purchases unless you feel you need them or they will help you achieve your goals.

It is, after all, about deliberately simple living.  Always keep that in mind.

But, if you enjoy our content and are going to make a wise purchase, show us some love by clicking through our links before making your purchase.

It will help us purchase cheap champagne for our Champagne Thursdays and maybe even leave enough left over to purchase a few dried buckwheat and wheat berry bars to eat on the trail.
